St. Ignatius High School is a Catholic high school located in the north end of Thunder Bay, Ontario. It is part of the Thunder Bay Catholic District School Board, and its amenities include a chapel. It offers the Advanced Placement programme and in 2008 was rated the best high school in Thunder Bay and ranked in the top 100 schools in Ontario.
The current chaplain is Joanna Lacaria. Its varsity team is the St. Ignatius Falcons. Unlike schools in the public system, students at St. Ignatius are required to wear uniforms, the uniform consists of a white crested top, a burgendy crested vest or a grey crested sweatshirt and a pair of solid black bottoms.

It is located in the building formerly occupied by Lakeview High School of the Lakehead District School Board system. The building was purchased by the Catholic Board in an auction for $1.
A renovation in 2008 will include a new auditorium and cafeteria, allowing more space for educational purposes. The addition is to reduce crowding and replace the portable classrooms currently in use.
One notable alumnus is actor Kevin Durand, best known for his roles in Dark Angel, Lost, Legion and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
Another alumni is Jay Miron, the BMX world champion and X-Games medalist. Also known as the Canadian Beast.
Lead singer of the band Maraday Park, Sam Migliazza also graduated from St. Ignatius.
In 1999 the Falcons had a dominant football team, with the likes of Steve Martinovic and Rodd Brindley, Jason Sutton and Kelly Kuper taking the team to the finals. Sadly, Martinovic broke his ankle in the final game and cost the team the championship. I mean c'mon, really Steve...drink some milk. You lost us the game you brittle boned nancy!

Erik Sereda- Former QB and notable Canadian Hip-Hop artist "Cdra". Led St. Ignatius Falcons to an embarrassing 0-7 season.
Brady Keeler- Former Linebacker, who supposedly once tore his ACL and MCL and returned in one weeks time. Recruited to the University of Florida. Notable acquaintances with Urban Meyer. Unfortunately Keeler was unable to attend the school on account of him failing to acquire his grade 12 diploma. Keeler won athlete of the year from 2008-2011 at St.Ignatius.
Tyler Anton- Former member of the Thunder Bay AAA Kings. Victim of the biggest knock out ever seen in Thunder Bay history.
Adam Restoule- Running show in the OHL. Former Plymouth Whalers forward and currently playing for the Sudbury Wolves. Known as the one of the leagues premier healthy scratches.
